Finishing

The paint shop works along side the model studio and is a stand alone department in its own right. Paint finishes are an often overlooked aspect of prototype parts but they can elevate your project to a new level.

Reasons for paint finishes

Finishing on 3D prints is more than aesthetics.

From branding your parts to match your corporate colour pallet to adding a weather resistant finish to prolong the life of your parts get in contact and we can discuss what best

suits you

Make your parts stand out from the crowd. Your company colours will make you  instantly recognisable

When adding a styling line

or company logo

the devils in the detail.

Make important features stand out with custom transfers or contrast colours.

Image is everything

Projecting the quality and feel of your product is not always possible with a raw 3D print.

Finishing takes your parts to the next level to accurately represent your company

3D Print
Finnishing

Surface texture is a recognised way to reduce noise.

Paint can be used to imitate a VDI (spark) finish used in injection moulding

giving you comparable results

3D prints can be porous and sensitive to UV light.

Hard wearing UV resistant paint will allow you to utilise parts in areas you did not think possible

Extend the functionality of your 3D prints with the right finish

making your parts far more cost affective
